Dirranbandi P–10 State School caters for students from Prep to Year 10.
Where possible you are asked to enrol your child/children prior to their first day of school, so that a teacher and class may be allocated and furniture provisions organised.
Most significantly, because we are a strict uniform school, enrolling students are expected to be in full uniform for their first day of school. Uniforms may be purchased as part of the enrolment process.
When enrolling your children you are required to meet with the Principal or Teacher-in-Charge for an enrolment interview. This meeting represents the first and most significant phase of the induction process for new members to our school. In the induction meeting the Principal will outline some key aspects of the school, seek your commitment to support the school’s initiatives and share in the vision and ownership of the school. These discussions will help to make the transition for your child/children into Dirranbandi P-10 State School as smooth as possible.
New families will also be taken on a tour of the school to view our wonderful campus and meet appropriate teachers.
At enrolment you will be supplied with:
An enrolment form
An enrolment agreement
A school prospectus – parent handbook
A student internet agreement form for each student
Family permission form
A responsible behaviour plan for students
A tuckshop price list
Chaplaincy service permission form
Subject selection form
